Motomaster Supermoto Parts – Quality with Certification
If you're looking for top-tier braking components for your Supermoto, Motomaster is the go-to brand. Their products – including Motomaster Flame brake discs, calipers, and adapters – are known for their excellent performance, durability, and reliability both on the street and the track.
One major benefit: many Motomaster parts come with an official ABE (Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis). This means they can be installed and used without additional TÜV approval or individual certification in Germany, as long as they're used according to the specified fitment.
You can download the latest ABE documents directly from the official Motomaster website:

Here, you’ll also find technical data, installation manuals, and everything you need for a smooth installation and registration process.
Note: Not all parts automatically include an ABE. Always check whether your specific setup is covered in the document. Any questions? Don’t hesitate to contact us – we’re happy to help!
Note on the Registration of SM Pro Rims
The registration of SM Pro Supermoto rims in Germany is only possible through an individual approval in accordance with §19 of the StVZO. A standard parts certificate (Teilegutachten) is not available for these rims.
Upon request, we can provide an example of a successful individual approval, which can serve as a reference for the TÜV inspector. This document can be used as a technical basis when creating an inspection report.
For the individual approval, we recommend bringing the following:
-
The technical verification document
-
Sample report of a previously completed individual approval
-
Photos of the mounted rims
-
Proof of secure installation and sufficient clearance

Installation and Maintenance Instructions for Your Wheels
NGR Racing Products
At NGR Racing Products, we provide high-quality wheels designed for maximum performance and safety. Proper installation and regular maintenance are essential to ensure the longevity and reliability of your wheels.
Wheel Installation
For safe and correct installation, we recommend having your wheels fitted by a qualified mechanic or authorized dealer.
-
Preparation:
Remove the old wheels and thoroughly clean axles, bearings, and seals. Apply fresh grease to axles and seals before installing the new wheels to extend their service life. -
Fasteners:
Use only OEM or high-quality bolts and fasteners. Clean and degrease all bolts before installation. Use appropriate threadlocker such as blue Loctite (Loctite 243) on brake disc and sprocket bolts where required. Tighten all fasteners to the manufacturer’s specified torque values. -
Wheel Mounting:
Carefully mount the wheels onto your motorcycle, ensuring all bolts and nuts are securely tightened according to specifications.
Breaking in New Wheels
New or newly spoked wheels require a break-in period to ensure optimal performance and safety.
-
After the first 15–20 minutes of riding, check the spoke tension and tighten any loose spokes as necessary.
-
Ensure the wheels are completely cooled before adjusting spoke tension, especially due to heat from braking.
-
Use a torque wrench preset to around 4.5 N·m for tightening spoke nipples.
Re-check spoke tension after the second and third practice sessions. Spokes will typically settle and maintain tension after this period.
Wheel Maintenance
-
Spoke Tension: Regularly inspect spokes for looseness. Avoid over-tightening, as this can cause spokes to break due to loss of flexibility.
-
Lubricate Nipples: Apply a drop of oil to the spoke nipples during maintenance to prevent them from seizing.
-
Bearings and Seals: Clean and re-grease bearings and seals regularly. Replace worn bearings promptly to avoid hub damage and potential accidents.
-
Fasteners: Frequently check sprocket and brake disc bolts. Use high-quality bolts with appropriate threadlocker and tighten to the recommended torque.

NGR Racing Products cannot be held liable for any damage or injury resulting from:
-
Improper installation or maintenance neglect

All KTM models accept a 5.00" wide rear rim, this is preferable for supermoto use. If you are interested in the compatibility of other models, please contact us.
Yes, we carry almost all Supermoto, Cross and Enduro tires at competing prices. Please contact us!
For street use 17" is recommended, due to the fact that there are no street legal tires available for smaller rim sizes.
For track use 16"or 16.5" is recommended, The cornering abilities will improve significantly.
The tire selection for 16" is significantly smaller compared to the 16,5" version. Michelin carries a very good 16" version.
For KTM EXC Supermoto we advise a ratio of 15/45. The perfect balance between torque and cruising RPM.
